CRgrumpy Conger2024-10-12Outstanding as always!Takiyah Strickland2024-09-06I noticed that my 2017 Explorer wasn't properly changing gears so I made an appointment for a diagnostic test. They quickly pinpointed the issue. They determined the problem was caused by a faulty torque converter. Which took me by surprise because we had a new tranmission installed approximately six months earlier. Luckily the system was covered by a warranty, so they ordered and installed another tranmission which turned out to be defective as well. This happened two more times, tranmissions were installed and immediately blew after driving short distances. Long story short, turned out to be that the programming used for the newer tranmission were not compatible with my 2017. They ended up rebuilding a tranmission for my vehicle. Needless to say, the entire process and the length of time that my vehicle was in the shop was very frustrating, for me and for the mechanics. However, Robert oversaw the entire process from start to finish. He diligently worked with the warranty company to make things right. I didn't have to speak to anyone from the warranty company throughout the entire process. It's been almost two months and I haven't had an issue with the my vehicle not changing gears.
